  • Where are you located?

  • Carmen teaches at a variety of locations! Most classes are at the Sylvan House of Music in Sylvan Lake but you could also catch a Free Spirits class at the Dickson Store Museum or GB Music & Sound.

  • What does my child need to bring?

    -Clothing appropriate for the weather, movement, and making messes.
    -A full water bottle
    -A snack
    -Indoor shoes

  • What are the class sizes?

    We can accommodate up to 12 students per class.

  • Do I have to pre-book or do you have drop in classes?

    You must pre-book for all classes to ensure adequate supplies and appropriate programming are available.

  • Can I drop off my child? Can I stay with my child?

    This is totally up to you and your preferences! Typically, parents stay for some or all of the first class to help their child get comfortable but will drop off for future classes.

  • What happens if my child misses a class?

    We will do our best to ensure your child gets caught up on missed projects and activities, however, due to time constraints this may not be possible. No refunds will be given for missed classes.

  • Do your classes require prerequisites?

    No, registration is grouped by age and we welcome students with any educational background.

  • Do you offer courses for teens or adults?

    We don’t right now but this could be a possibility in the near future! Stay tuned!

  • When is my child's course payment due? How do you take payment?

    -Registration and payment for: Fine Arts Fusion can be made on a monthly basis via etransfer to freespiritscreative@gmail.com
    -Registration and payment for PD Day Programs can be made no later than two days prior to the program via etransfer to freespiritscreative@gmail.com
    -Registration and payment for Private Music Lessons will go through the Sylvan House of Music
    -Registration and payment for the Dickson Store Museum homeschool program will go through the Dickson Store Museum.
    -Registrations and payment for Academic Tutoring will go through Free Spirits on a case by case basis.
